Rosalind Lyons Hudson has exhibited regularly for several years, with paintings in private collections both in the UK and abroad. The Renaissance period and Shakespearean drama have long been significant influences, and particularly the exploration of parallels between painting and theatre. Rosalind is currently working on a series of paintings developed from observational and archival research at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London, where she has been Artist in Residence.
These paintings will form a solo exhibition at the Globe between April and August 2012

Rosalind is also currently studying for a practice-based PhD, under the title 'Representing Ambiguity; a pictorial exploration of liminality and transformation in Shakespearean theatre', at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
